It has been a while since any new episodes of GearZ have aired on Speed. Well, that is all about to change! Tomorrow morning, at 9:00am EST, new episodes will start back up. We have been very busy getting them all filmed and edited so we could get them to you as fast as possible. Plus, Speed ordered 2 more episodes for this season! So that will make for a total of 15!
So what have we been up to? Well, in this weekend's episode Stacey rolls in a '59 Ford Stepside Truck that is being built by the Herobox organization to help raise awareness for their goal of sending Heroboxes to all of our men and women serving in the Military. It's a great cause and a great truck and both need to be seen! The truck has already received a lot of modifications, but Stacey adds his special touch by installing custom wood in the bed, trying out a new roll-on bedliner, and sinking some cool 60's Corvette taillights into the rear fenders.
If you've got an old truck and have been wondering how to bring the bed and fenders up a notch... this show will definitely give you some ideas! After that, Stacey shows you just how important having the proper work table is, and the kind of things you can do if you have one. It's all about the tools... it's all about the techniques... it's all about GEARZ! Click here to go to our website for a sneak peak.
Another new episode will air next Saturday, June 5th as well. You WON"T want to miss this one! Ask any gearhead what they dream about doing, being a Blue Angels Jet pilot or an Astronaut will be right at the top of the list. But what is really involved in being a pilot for the Blue Angels? Well on this episode of GearZ, Stacey takes a look at the incredible history of the Blue Angels, and where they are today. Then as only GEARZ can do, Stacey takes you into the cockpit and allows you to experience firsthand the incredible experience of flying with the Blue Angels. If sitting on top of thousands of horsepower and flipping inverted at the speed of sound sounds like fun to you... then hold on, because you are in for the ride of your life! If you've ever wondered what it was like to be a part of the Blue Angels, and wondered if YOU could ever be a part of the team... this is one show you can't miss! To find out more check out Stacey’s blog about the experience.
We have also had some great opportunities to give away some great prizes from our friends at Royal Purple and Miller Electric. All of our winners come from the What Are You Workin' On community. If you haven't done so, already be sure to sign up. There is one month left in the Royal Purple give away for the top participants on the site. Also, Stacey is still picking member's rides to be showcased on GearZ in the What Are You Workin’ On? segment. Each owner featured gets product donated by our friends at Miller Electric.
Speaking of products, we have some cool new things available in the GearZ online store! Custom GearZ shift knobs made by SpeedDawg; replenished supply of GearZ t-shirts for summer; and coming very soon, What Are You Workin On? ringer tees with some really cool graphics. Be sure to check 'em out!
Stacey will be in Vegas this weekend with the guys and a gal from American Graffiti to raise money for the Lili Claire Foundation at Gasoline Alley. If your in the area be sure to stop by and say hi!
From all of us at GearZ, have a great holiday weekend. And like Stacey says... "Get out there and build it, then drive it like you stole it!"

Hi Stacey, my wife and I both enjoy your GEARZ show. Although she thought you were a bit of a showoff on Trucks, she got over it. I hope to see many more of your new projects. My DVR is wanting to record some new episodes.
You have a great show, keep it going...

Hey Stacey,
Your show is the best. Tell Speed to give you an Hour show. So what happened to Teds "Bushmaster" Bronco? That was a great build.
Keep up the great shows.
The Cook Family

Hey Stacy, I love the fact that you think of us with lil to no buget for a 57' bel air with a blower out of the hood. It's cool that cab over you pulled out of the junk yard got it running and it was totally HOT.
Now I said that how bout a project with a mid 90' car like the 97' t-bird lx sport I own since new, and the v-6&v-8 birds are going cheap and have a lot of potential.
But the main thing keep the shows rollin' WE LOVE THEM.

What was the early TURBO Corvair Spyder motor doing hanging around the shop last episode?!?! It would be nice to see some positive recognition for America's only mass produced, air cooled vehicles (cars, trucks and vans). We love the obscure!

EVEN THOUGH ALL CARS WERE SO RESTRICTED AND CHOKRD BY THE GOV. FOR AIR POLUTION AND CHEAP OCTANE GAS. YES I DO OWN ONE THESE CAR5S ARE MAKING A COME BACK. THANKS TO CHEVY FINALLY BUILDING SOMETHING WORTHWHILE. THANKS STACY AND KEEP IT WHEEL SIDE DOWN!!

I'd like to see some of the really old projects wrap up. Hairy Hauler is been so close and started over a couple of times. Sgt. Rock is getting long in the tooth. I think the Banshee is just shy some interior.
I like the new projects. But don't let yourself get distracted from realizing success on old projects. It's a common problem we all have. Let's combat it.

We would like to know how to get one of those gear shift knobs you had on your shoe the other day. Building a 61 starliner, almost done except for the insurance and maybe a diferent knob! Billy West

Cool show. First time watcher. Like the other guy, I wish your show was more than thirty minutes long. Love the shows on the cougar.
Posted by: Dane Bryant | August 27, 2010 at 08:29 PM
Sgt. Rock has been around so long those oversized trucks have gone out of fashion. It now looks silly. Find some high-schooler to buy it.
Finish Hairy Hauler and drive the HotRod power tour with it.
Pull the little motor out of the Banshee and put in an AMC 401 for some real power. Meaning, more cubes = more power.

GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK!!!NOw let's build a Toyota fj40.Maybe put a rockjock axle under a new FJ Crusier and take out the oh so weak IFS.I got a great idea we can do mine,it already sets on BFG KM2 35's.Also has ARB's,AllPro links (rear),AllPro control arms up front,Walker Evans 2.5 coilovers,Procomp 9000 rear shocks,Warn bumpers front&rear,Warn 9000 winch,Magna flow catback and Trailgear Armor.I'm also currently building a 69 FJ40 for my son while he is deployed to Afghanistan.Hopefully have it done for him before he returns.Full frame off restored mod. It's a somewhat streetable crawler. So lets get out there and build something. If you have any pull with speed you ought to tell them to show different shows, they're showing the same show the next three weekends,it's the one with the suspention of the 67 couger. I really like your show but the same one three weeks in a row is alittle to much.

HI I tried a set of E3 plugs on my 2007 impala ltz, they are the worst! It cost me $179.00 to get my car back to normal again. One plug blewout a plug boot it had a black mark & it looked cracked. I sent them back to E3 and they said it was not the plugs, there was no problem before the change. I tried them because you talked highly of them. Now I am out $179.00 and E3 will only refund the cost of plugs. They have the plugs so I can not have them checked by someone else,{mmmm} all I have is the paperwork from my dealer stating that the plug caused this problem. Just thought you should know that E3 will not back their product to far, just a refund on plugs. I am stuck with $179.00 repair bill & $8.00 postage to send them the plugs. Loyal viewer. Joe
